About Jordan and The Stagey Page

The Stagey Page began on Instagram in 2022 as a way to document my theatre trips and connect with fellow theatre lovers. Since then, I’ve reviewed for West End Best Friend, Curtain Call Reviews and Adventures In Theatreland, before receiving my first press invitation under my own brand in 2024. After plenty of hard work, this website launched in July 2026 as the home for all my Reviews, interviews, event coverage and stagey adventures.

I’m based in Wrexham, North Wales, but you’ll often find me travelling across the UK to review productions and experience as much live entertainment as possible.

I believe theatre is for everyone, and my reviews will always be honest and written from my own perspective. That’s the beauty of theatre—every audience member experiences a show differently. Knowing that people read my reviews and discover new productions because of them is something I’ll never take for granted.

Away from The Stagey Page, I support young adults with learning disabilities and complex health conditions. I’ve loved live entertainment from a young age, and that passion has taken me to concerts, festivals, Eurovision, TV recordings and, of course, countless theatre productions.

First Theatre Memory
Aside from childhood trips to the pantomime at Venue Cymru in Llandudno, my earliest theatre memory is a school trip to Theatr Clwyd to see a Welsh-language production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Studying Shakespeare is one thing… studying it in second-language Welsh was another!

First West End Show
Thriller Live was my first West End show in June 2023. My mum and I were already travelling to London to see Barbra Streisand at The O2, and we decided to make a theatre trip of it. It became a really special memory that sparked many more theatre adventures together.

Favourite Theatrical Experience
The final London performance of & Juliet was unforgettable, with the audience giving what felt like endless standing ovations. Seeing Paddington: The Musical from the front row was another magical experience, and more recently The Greatest Showman completely blew me away.

Favourite Shows
Choosing favourites is almost impossible! & Juliet first captured my heart before The Little Big Things became a standout for its powerful story and personal connection to the work I do supporting young adults with disabilities. I also loved Burlesque in Manchester, while more recent favourites include The Greatest Showman, Pride at the National Theatre, and Redcliffe, which I really hope has another life beyond its original run.

Favourite Venues
Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre is simply magical, with the sunset behind the trees providing the perfect backdrop for a performance. Closer to home, I love The Lowry for its welcoming atmosphere and fantastic facilities, while the newly refurbished Theatr Clwyd has quickly become one of my favourite venues.

Favourite Thing About Theatre
Theatre is the perfect escape from everyday life. I love sharing it with family and friends, and no two performances are ever the same, that’s what makes live theatre so special.
